Trance Rayven has taken the offer to become a War General for the Goddess of Sel in place of Lord Argo - creator of The Observance. He also became somewhat of an adoptive father to two bright Demians (twins) which he took with him to Sel.

Upon entering Sel, he finds that the ultimate purpose of him being there wasn't because of a new job title at all. It was because he has found something he never knew he was missing; an equal.

Trance finds this in the Blood Goddess Crimsonly, which overtime the pair become more than Goddess and Reaper. The union of these two beings have put in motion several major events that will change their respective worlds, one of which involves a false and exiled High Goddess.

Now with his new title as the Blood Goddess's Reaper he has much more to provide and keep the name of his Goddess strong... That other event? It has to do with things in his Home Realm, which have been turned upside down.

Lord Argo has gone MIA, the Realm of Demi is destroyed AND in danger of dying, and now as acting Lord in place of Argo he (Trance) has to figure out what to do about the other. Trance has to shelve his duty to Goddess Crimsonly and stop whatever plan Argo has enacted against Trance and the Demians as a whole.
