"It's been a hundred years since the global blackout ravaged society as it was known. The origins are blurry, and evidence of what happened is scarce, so the rumors say. Nothing remains of what were once countries; evidence suggests that only states exist now. Some are still government-controlled. Others, like us, got rid of them.

Our society is non-existent; there's no unity, only division. The Grand Alliances hold the greatest privileges, and the rest of us are like a piece of shit, although it's not that bad. For me, it's actually fucking great. Those Grand Alliances constantly fight for each other's lands. But here? Even Satan himself wouldn't come. Until today, October 25, 2121. The worst day of my life, without a doubt. I was born in a remote shelter in the northeast, and my whole life I've lived on the outskirts, far from the Grand Alliances. But after this tragic day, I'll become a part of one, my dream come true.
