Detective Maralin finds himself at the end of his rope when he digs to deep in demon activity. He must finish his investigation but to do that he's going to have to bring two worlds together with the help of a half-demon pirate, a voodoo priestess and his Spill Spinning family.

"You. Aeshma, you broke King Mukduks jaw?" Egale questioned in disbelief.
Aeshma relaxed back into her seat glancing over at the big man. "Damn right I did, grimy son of a cave wart thought I was stupid. He didn't like finding out the difference." With that Egale burst into laughter.
The mood had changed from serious to enjoying fond memories of the past, even Maralin loosened up a bit. "Give me back that ale, I'm thirsty!"
Aeshma grinned and downed half of the mug before pushing it back to Maralin, "What brings you here anyway, you clearly want something."
Maralin took a small swig of his ale, she wasn't going to like this. "I want you to open a portal to the Nether-World for me. I need to find out what demon killed the chancellor." Maralin took a deeper drink as the two stared at him. Egale's jaw had opened a bit as he gaped in wonderment but Aeshma seemed to recover from her shock quickly.

Where am I? Who am I? The last thing I remembered was the claws and teeth of that hideous monster. there had been blood everywhere but the only thing I had had in mind was fight. I kick at the approaching masked people, instinct kicking in as my fists ball up and I knock them out. "My my, are you a fighter, Ayaka," a voice says gently. Ayaka. That's my name. I look up. His eyes are so kind and his smile seemingly soothes my tense muscles. His face is half overcome by some illness. I was confused. I was scared. I couldn't care about anything. I glanced around, throwing daggers at whoever dared to step towards me. "Now, I know this must be confusing but I need you to listen," the man continued. I looked straight at him, daring him to speak. To my surprise, the man smiled kindly. "My name is Kagaya Ubayashiki," the man says. I said nothing but didn't interrupt him. "It's okay if you don't know anything, we'll take care of you. That's all you need to know for now." The Ubayashiki man said. ~~ Ayaka has no memory of her past. All she knows is that she was raised at Butterfly Mansion by Shinobu after being rescued. She has a million questions and no answers.
