On June 9, 2008, Travis Alexander was murdered in the shower of his home in Riverside California. The suspect in the murder is his ex-girlfriend Jodi Arias. On December 10, 2012, the trial begins in Maricopa County Superior Court. The plaintiff is the People of the State of California against the defendant Jodi Arias. In May 2013 the trial continues. As of March 29, 2013, the amount of $ 1.4 million has been spent to provide public defenders for Arias.
