Nightmare is loved dearly by everyone, cruelty is loved in this world. Dream was a person of positivity and joy, after a while Nightmare ordered his brothers execution after a false claim was made on him.
"I'm sorry, I hope you'll be happier now" he smiled as he bit into the forbidden fruit, Nightmare ran over yelling for his brother to spit it out.
And from the depths of Hell a new being was made from the dust of his brother.
Shattered.
But then, he was given a chance to go to the past and change what happened.
