this is my AU
Nightmare is loved dearly by everyone, cruelty is loved in this world. Dream was a person of positivity and joy, after a while Nightmare ordered his brothers execution after a false claim was made on him.
"I'm sorry, I hope you'll be happier now" he smiled as he bit into the forbidden fruit, Nightmare ran over yelling for his brother to spit it out.
And from the depths of Hell a new being was made from the dust of his brother.
Shattered.
But then, he was given a chance to go to the past and change what happened.

TWs!!! because I can't seem to tag them for some reason! abuse, mental health issues, torture, mental break downs, manipulation, all that fun stuff. This is NOT a lighthearted story! Nightmare had been alone in his head for the longest time. For 500 years he was able to gain more power, a castle, a gang, and a reputation of one of the most dangerous beings in the multiverse. But when Dream had broken out of stone, someone else made themselves known, someone who should have been dead. OR Corrupted Nightmare is a parasite and Passive Nightmare refuses to die. If the beatings from all the other times he had destroyed any excess AUs weren't enough, this one definitely takes the chocolate from him. Seriously, all of Ink's creations and Ink himself ganging up on him as soon as he went inside the new AU? Give him a break FATE.
