(Book 3 of 3) YOU NEED TO READ THE OTHER TWO BEFORE THIS ONE!!! Mr.L had died and Dimentio was left alone again, but this time not entirely alone. His twin children, Dave and Luna, his only remnants of Mr.L. Dimentio knew that he spent the first ten years of his life in an orphanage, but then he started wondering... why? Why was he abandoned as a child? Did his parents truly not love him just because of his appearance? Meanwhile, Mario had held up his end of the deal and left Rogueport. Alone. He knew that he now had blood on his hands. He had attempted suicide, but Dimentio tried to intervene, which is why Mr.L was now dead. After isolation, and his thoughts whispering to him, he realizes that none of this would've happened if Dimentio was simply never in the picture. Two broken halves, two problems, one solution. In Octo Canyon, circa 150,000 years into the future, the Octarians are trying to perfect a time machine. The machine works a little too well and they end up bringing in Luigi! They decide to do a little experimenting on the human and find out that they can hypnotize him just like they did for the Inkling, Callie! They recreate Mr.L and then dump Luigi back into his timeline. Dimentio catches wind of this and demands to rescue Mr.L from these fiends. Luigi and Dimentio now find themselves navigating this futuristic world as Inklings and Octolings to find Mr.L. (SPM and Splatoon belong to Nintendo!
