Suicide Poem (I love you)

Dear mum and dear dad
We have many memories,
Some good and some bad.
You told me you loved me,
And I know that you meant it.
But some days it felt like,
You only pretended.
I know I wasn't perfect,
But I did try my best.
Unfortunately I didn't try hard enough,
As I left such a mess.
I'm sorry I left so early,
I'm sorry it ended like this.
I just felt like no one cared,
I thought I wouldn't be missed.
You didn't know my favourite colour,
Nor did you know my favourite song.
You didn't know how I felt,
Or that I was hurt for so long.
So I guess it's time to say goodbye,
To a girl you hardly knew.
Who felt like she wasn't loved,
By more than just a few.
I am resting up in heaven now,
Where I know I will be safe.
You could say im like an angel,
Returning to my place.
Please take this poem,
As my letter of goodbye.
I promise to look down on you,
As I'm flying up so high.
