As I near the small creek, I usually go to for quiet so I can reconnect to nature, I slip off my moccasins. Bare feet gliding along the soft earth. Rocks and mud push between my toes, as my weight shifts from one foot to the other. The creek is my along with many other animals sanctuary. I kneel down at the edge of the creek. This is one of the few places that the pale faces or white man hasn't poisoned with their filthy minds and souls. While I'm grazing my hand lightly across the water's surface a twig lightly snaps. To my right a couple deer come to me. I reach into my pouch and grab a hand full of grain the doe sniffs the aroma. It tickles as her muzzle gently nudges my hand as she eats the satisfying grain. I guess this is why they call me an Animal Speaker. My name is dancing fawn, I have long black hair, dark skin, and dark brown eyes. I am about average hight and I'm thin but not to thin. I have a wolf named guardian, and a horse named sky walker.

"I bandaged everything the best I could. It will need stitches. However, I'm afraid that it is broken. Same as your leg. Broken and needs stitches. How's your head feeling? I haven't been able to get that sucker to stop bleeding." His voice sliced through the air. I stare at him, confused, looking around, wanting to be anywhere but here. He clears his throat once again. "Mate, did you hear me?" "How is your head feeling?" I close my eyes. What the fuck? What the fuck? I was angry, annoyed, and frightened. What, mate? What cruel world would make me mate with a wolf? No, no, no... My arm and leg were throbbing intensely. My head was screaming. I brought my fingers up to my head to try and rub the pain away. I needed to leave. Now. I told myself. My mind is still groggy, unable to swiftly move my body like I need to. I didn't even notice I was crying until his voice rang through my ears once again. His footsteps quickly, walking across the hardwood floor. The first book in the series Not very good lol 😆 Completed, still needs editing though let me know what you think!
