The future is ravaged with the people dying at large rates. The surviving few have no choice but to toe the line, or else if not claimed by disease will be declared rogue by the city and thrown out. These rogues go ahead to the same as The Vault, a lab where dead bodies are submitted so as to be reused with a new person within. The rogues are grave robbers. Stealing bodies from banned and protected graves is not an easy job, yet it manages to give these people a hold over the black market. Yet, things become bad when The Vault decides to refill by targeting live people- The Rogues who are known as Grave Hunters.
Here Amber, a Hunter is now torn between surviving the hunt on for her kind , while trying to retrieve her sister who was taken by the Viables. It's a nightmare which has haunted her since the day it happened, the day she got thrown out.

A group of scientists accidentally create a new disease that threatens a mass extinction event for humans, and only a small percentage of the population is genetically immune. As the rest of the population begins dying off, world leaders in this dystopian hellscape start gathering those who are infected in an attempt to isolate the virus. Those who are immune form The Society and go on the run in hopes to find a hiding place away from the rest of the world. Ghost, an immune, escapes from The Shelters and runs into Frostbite, an infected teenager. Ghost believes that his father, head researcher of the LeVon Institute, was close to finding a cure but is murdered before he does. They're seniors in high school but because of the war, they've been separated on government orders. No one is allowed outside because the government is making people to believe its toxic. They believe that if the parents believe it, the kids will too. But it doesn't stop Alex. She and her best friends decide that they are going to try and stop this. But how? They have no clue. "Where are those little trouble makers?" they asked her but she shook her head telling them she had no idea where we were. One growled madly like an angry lion and yelled "You can run away little kiddies but you can't hide forever" and with that we heard gun shots and curses but little did they know, we were already out the door..... To be reborn in a game, and a romance game at that! Amber didn't expect to die from a small illness, only to wake up in one of those japanese romance games she played when she would get bored. And from all the novels she read as if training for this day, she became a villainess to boot. 'why couldn't it be an easy one? why is it this game of all choices man...' She became Sakura Serenity, the daughter of the emperor of the Eternity Empire and the villainess who gets in the way for all main capture targets. It was discovered that Rose, the Heroine had strong purification abilities as well as healing and defense and was the daughter of the emperor. It was a cheat or heroine halo that the damn gamemakers made because the setting was 'after 500 years of peace from the bloody and horrific war against the corrupted ones, there in the shadows, they grow stronger and will once again rise to endanger the empires again, the girl will be the key to the survival of all.. etc, etc' So the heroine will train and capture hearts along the way to save the world sigh~ how annoying. Sakura became the princess who grew jealous and ended up being corrupted and was a stepping stone for her sister. Follow Sakura as she break through the "game" and changes her fate. She may even discover that her being Sakura wasn't a simple transmigrate or reincarnation like she thought.

The archangel named Gabriel explains why she has these dreams and why she must lead the fight against evil, but first she must confront her mother and grandmother. They turn her life upside when she finds out her family knew. A fight ensued, and she runs away and encounters the demons that wish to kill her. Gabriel rescues her, and the need to train her for a battle which her ancestors have fought for the side of good every one-hundred years. Throughout her ordeal she encounters creatures which want to kill her, and monster that accept her into their family. She finds love and comfort in the enemy's armies and fight her brother to save the world. Being mostly made up of impoverished individuals, it is not surprised that they got cured cheaply and lastly, despite being the main test subjects. Lochlyn is their representative. She just wanted an education beyond elementary school. A little luckier stricken part of the infected population evolved into reverents. Reverants have a feudal system over the zombies to "keep them in order". The luck may have had to do with them being upper-class when being treated. Basilica is their representative. At eighteen, she wanted body modifications, a job, and etc... as a rite of passage entering adulthood. At least that's what she was thinking. The more she was told no, the more she wondered what she could do. There are still uninfected humans left in the U.S.A. Most of them are middle-class. Katrina is their representative. She gained a family member, but lost two. She aches to find out why she can never return home again. The three eighteen-year-old females, along with their beaus, journey for truth, equality, justice, restoration, love, and freedom lead them to the same end: the capital.
