The Professor is the story of Ian Wilder, a well-known demonology expert during the day, and a demon hunter famous in the Underworld during the night.
It's the story of Bridget Harris, an 18 year old girl, is one of the few teens with supernatural powers that professor Wilder has taken under his protective wing, teaching them about creatures they thought were myths- and how to protect the humans from them.

As problems arouse in the Underworld, the professor and his students are thrown in the middle of the hurricane, having to face mystical beings from the deceitful fair folk to the bloodthirsty vampires, with the only help coming from the Legion of Guardians, the gargoyles.
Through all this mess, Ian and Bridget grew closer, and she has to decide whether she can confess her feelings for him- feelings she has been experiencing since she met the professor, though she never told him- especially with all the trouble around them.

The professor is a story of a brilliant, charismatic but also difficult professor, an ambitious young girl with an unrequited love for her mentor, and a hidden side of New York, both magical and terrifying.
