The art of finding and sustaining a marriage filled with love and devotion was more difficult than any young person being forced into the world wanted to believe. Though, for those of high ranking, love was rarely a requirement for a marriage. The Barnes family knew this well, a noble and established group that everyone either wanted to be a part of or despised. James had always seen the world through a porcelain magnifying glass, believing that what awaited him was beauty and prosperity. For a young omega, a dream is the only thing he could have. Though, when it is finally his turn to enter into the world of maturity, ready to find an Alpha to care for him, that glass is shattered. In enters Mr. Parker, an old fairytale of James' that had turned into a nightmare. May the world burn at the hands of such a powerful collision. (Pictures used in cover are NOT MINE)

Montana Summers was everything JJ Maybank thought he hated-too kind, too perfect, too golden. Convinced no one could be that flawless, he made it his mission to find her fault. But every time she chose kindness over bitterness, JJ's resolve cracked. Beneath her sunny exterior, he saw glimpses of pain and resilience that mirrored his own, though she wore her scars with grace he couldn't understand. The more he tried to push her away, the more he realized they weren't so different. What terrified JJ wasn't her perfection-it was how much he cared for her despite himself. Montana Summers wasn't just the girl he couldn't figure out; she was the girl he couldn't let go. slow burn enemies to friends to lovers
