The Year is 2087.
Due to an outbreak of a deadly virus, half of the world's population perished. The dominant nations set up camping sites to accommodate those remaining. In order to protect themselves, one would have to buy themselves the safety to live in one of the five Sectors; leaving those not able to live in one to die. In Sector Alpha (Modern day U.S.), a vaccine is in the works by Auizia Lauritsen, a rather independent scientist, who relies on no one to get task done. When the planet's fate rests in her hands, she sets on a dangerous task to the Capitol where she will go against all odds to end this epidemic before humanity perishes forever. Will she be able to stop it in time? Or will she perish, along with the rest of the World.

The council says that they have a plan; they said that in order to prevent the death of more innocent people they will test every man, woman, and child for signs of the virus. Any person found to have been infected will be quarantined, the ones who die will be given a proper burial while the ones who survive are deemed carriers and are to be sent to the home planet to prevent further outbreak. I was prepared for the people I know and some I love being taken away for the greater good, but I never would have expected that among the list of people being taken from my community, that I would be one of them.. I survived the quarantine. Now for the survival of my planet I, and the other Carriers must be sent to the home planet. I'm going back to Earth. I spring towards the house phone, dusty from years of doing absolutely nothing, so I can call the police. I don't make it. Halfway there, I trip on my own pant-leg and face plant on the floor. The woman steps over me and retrieves the phone. She looks at it as if it's a foreign object, "This won't be necessary. All I want to do is talk to you." For some reason, instead of screaming, I stay silent. She smiles and pulls out a chair from the kitchen table for me to sit on. When I don't sit, she says, "If you want to know what's going on, then sit." I think about it for a moment. She hasn't hurt me yet, and I have to admit, I am quite curious as to what's going on.
