Together they've flown and shown what it means to be a Duo, it seemed as if they were going to stay like this forever. Wanting to Retire from the Merc life and maybe getting a cabin together

Though a Rival, Clad in Crimson had other plans, ending the battle in Presidia in a Barbaric. Cowardly fashion.. After a brutal duel between the two Aces, the one woman who meant anything to the quiet Ace, was out cold, not able to give him the words of encouragement she had always given him

So he Finished the fight, striking down his opponent and Ending This Wretched War. Without anything to console him, he flew in the skies, a quiet air as tense as a piano string. He flew through the final Cordium explosion of his Crimson Foe and closed his eyes, for a long while...

But what's this? Opening his eyes, instead of an Orange wasteland, a destroyed city. He sees a clear blue ocean, calm and tranquil. But he doesn't have time to be confused as a message comes through the radio!!
