It's already been a year since the defeat and DEATH of Doctor eggman. The once cocky lovable hedgehog was no longer that happy go lucky bean. Instead he had seculded himself and truly made himself believe he was not needed now, he wasn't even... He wasn't...
He was different now. But his friends are worried, they've spent years together and every attempt to get him back seems hopeless, soon they will find out that he's not even SONIC!
Or is he?
Not only that, but the now anxious and depressed hog will run into his rival, and it's not a pretty reunion, they seem to hate him more than ever now, and he can't understand what he ever did to deserve this.
As time goes on will the darker hedgehog be able to save the sonic who is falling into a pit of despair or will he only make it worse?
Can sonic be redeemed for what he's done? Does he deserve to be loved? What happened to sonic?
This is a slowburn story.
