When war is declared by the king of Sivion against the Bevinian empire Jory find himself caught in the crossfire of a battle, however it doesn't seem like both side of the battle have any link to the empire or the kingdom. After managing to survive the halfling is kidnapped by two of the fighter. Upon waking up they tell him something that will change his life.
A little bit against his will he get caught in an interdimensional treasure hunt to find a long lost artefact capable of saving the world.
