It's been three years since the end of the Blip. After the defeat of Thanos everyone expected to begin living their lives again. But a year later Earth was invaded by an alien species called the Others. Part of a group or hive consciousness no one knows why the Others are there but they are dangerous and intent on taking control of the planet. New York has gone dark. There is no contact with Wakanda, Thor, or the Guardians of the Galaxy. The remaining Avengers have regrouped in a place called The Bunker, near the badlands of New Mexico. They do what they can to survive in the wasteland while trying to deal with the Others. Bucky Barnes went back in time to bring Steve Rogers and his wife Peggy forward to help in the fight. A series of misfortunes resulted in the death of loved ones and Barnes is still affected by the guilt.

On a quick scouting trip to the Badlands Steve is alerted to an injured woman, Jade, alone and almost dead, who has been searching for the Heroes, the Avengers. She has information on how they can defeat the Others. Bucky feels a connection with this strange, ethereal, beautiful woman that draws him out of his misery. Together, with the other Avengers they formulate a plan that will save the planet. That is, until a dangerous cult from her past threatens everything.

As an eighteen year old girl in Brooklyn, New York in the 1930's, falling pregnant unplanned is not on your agenda. So when it happens, it's needless to say your world comes crashing down. You know it is going to change your life forever and at this point of course you think it will be for the worst, especially when everyone who you thought loved you and held you dear turns their backs on you. But there is one person left you can depend on. The person you would trust with your life. Your life long best friend, Bucky Barnes. Worried what everyone will think and ashamed of your increasingly not so little secret, Bucky stands by your side and is with you throughout what you think will be the biggest hardship of your life... little do you know that this is only the beginning. Keeping your secret and standing by your side when times get tough stirs up brand new kinds of feelings between the two of you. But it turns out that knowing Bucky Barnes comes with a price, and playing such a huge role in his life, can you handle being dragged so deeply into all that is to come? It's seems that whenever Bucky and you start to think you might finally be able to settle down together and start a relatively normal life something has to go wrong. And now with not just yourself to look out for is it worth the involvement? The bond between you two seems unbreakable after all you've gone through together but with fate seemingly determined to keep ruining your lives will something ultimately go so wrong that it just can't be fixed? I will put warnings at the beginnings of chapters for smut and triggers etc. DISCLAIMER: I do not own any of the characters, these are just things I imagine!

After the battle against Thanos and his armies, Marlow Hendrix is tasked with helping Steve Rogers return the Infinity Stones to their rightful times. When her mission goes awry in 1970, she keeps her resolve, waiting to find a way out of an increasingly dangerous situation while being stuck away from home and away from help. Back in 2023, Bruce picks up her signal and pulls it to the present, unaware of the danger that lurks in the past. It is only when an unexpected threat steps off the platform that they realise how badly the mission went. And when Marlow finally returns, she struggles to come to terms with her past in order to accept her future--but with the help of a familiar face, she might just do it. ⁂ Main themes: Time-travel, canon-compliant, Endgame to FATWS, Hydra, slow-burn, trauma, brainwashing, friends to lovers. ⁂ "She knew his face. She felt she knew it like the back of her hand by now, so she tried her hardest to prepare herself in those infinitely long moments after Richardson spoke. It didn't matter though; she couldn't help the hiccup of her heart as he walked in, dressed in leathers, with his hair significantly shorter than she'd ever seen in person. As his eyes landed on her, she tried not to expect his face to be the one she knew. She tried to not to expect it to shift into a look of realization, then to worry, then to protection. Because he wasn't the Bucky she knew." ________ Loosely inspired by a vid by @madsxbarnes on Tiktoki

"Crossing the room to the doorway, so he could greet his husband with a kiss. Not lingering the way that he used to, Bucky marked Steve's bump, in hopes of reassuring Steve with his scent. Although they were doing better every day, it still wasn't how it had once been. Steve figured that it would never be like that again. His psychiatrist encouraged that that was okay. That people grew and changed every day. That relationships evolved. Reminding him that Bucky loved him and that he loved Bucky and that together, they could make it. If they wanted to and tried. So, that was what they were doing. Bucky went to his group meetings on Mondays. Steve spent an hour on Thursdays talking about whatever came to mind. Then, they attended family night on Sundays. They were getting back into the groove. Growing and evolving. They loved each other, and Steve found comfort in that. Maybe not every day, but at least every other day." -Modern Stucky AU -Language and other mature content -EDITED VERSION WITH NEW CHAPTERS BOOK 6 OF 14: GREEN SERIES ***I don't own Marvel or the characters of Steve Rogers and Bucky Barnes, nor any of the other Marvel characters
