Khadijah is a young girl, who is 13 years old. She has a beautiful voice, and a heart as pure as the color white. But as people get older, things change. Innocence diminishes, and new questions arise. Khadijah is on a journey to adulthood, as the years pass, she forms a great desire to find herself and to find her lord, to discover the reality of life. The society around her is forever changing, and everyone seems to be doing the opposite of what she had been taught as a child. Through this adversity, she struggles to keep her morals, and faith and to find herself. Tragedies strike, friendships form and love arises. Side note: There may be a few terms in this book, that some people who are not of the same origin, might not be familiar with. It will be easy to catch on the meanings in the story, but if not there is always google :)
