this is my segment of a story my friends and I wanted to collab on, but due to our busy lifestyles, we never got around to completing it. I might pick up where I left off depending on the feedback I receive on this :)
Ashwani is an Indian princess living in India in 3069 B.C.E. (a long time ago I know). Born into a royal family, she combats gender norms and stereotypes on a daily basis. Her kingdom was always at war, and her father craved nothing more than a son to carry on his legacy and support the kingdom during war. Ashwani does all to please her father, going so far as to learn the art of warfare and fight as a soldier in the army named Aarush. As a result, she forms an enmity with society, which her mother tries so desperately to fix. Ashwani fights to balance her two lives but is met with a new hurdle; marriage. After her first lover passed away in war and a previous suitor left her completely broken, Ashwani was sure she'd never love again; but all that changed when she met Shaan. Just as her new love begins to blossom, she is teleported into a futuristic world full of unknowns...
