What happened after the Ball?
Cinderella got her happily ever after while her step-sisters got what they deserved.
Two years after that night, Drusilla Tremaine's life has turned upside down. Their fortune had dwindled to nothing, Anastasia had left, their house was crumbling, and her mother saw none of it.
With the help of her first friend, Drusilla sets off into the world, hoping to get away from everything related to her old life and her mistakes. She finds herself in a new city with no job and no one.
With her newfound freedom, Drusilla does her best to keep her head down and try to redeem her past.
Life has other plans.
With the help of her new friends and a reluctant partnership with an eccentric man, Drusilla could find her own happily ever after. Or, like her mother always said, they would prove to be her downfall.
