One day at school another student catches him eating candy on the roof. Instead of turning him in, he asks for a Ring Pop and introduces himself as Theo Bris. They sit on the roof happily eating candy for hours.
Until he finds out that Theo is dating Adrian Grenwood, a student in his biology class who constantly makes dirty jokes and purposefully pisses off Milo.
Deciding that pursuing a friendship with Theo overrides his hatred for Adrian he just lets it slide. Even when Theo makes all three of them hang out.
But when he starts yearning for Theo's smile, blushing whenever Adrian makes joke advances and wishing he could be on the receiving end of their kisses, he knows he's fucked.
