Every child who is born has a timer like watch on their wrist counting down to the second you meet your soulmate. Some have years, while others just have minutes.

Noella Andrews has 7 days, 2 hours, 4 minutes, and 52 seconds exactly until she meets the supposed 'love of her life' and she's dreamt of it her entire life. They would meet, Fall in love, and be high school sweethearts. What more could she expect? She was meeting the man she would spend the rest of her life with at age 16. What Noella doesn't know is the guy she is destined to be with is a little more... popular than expected.

In this society, everyone has a soulmate. And the way to find yours is just look. Along with a soulmate, everyone has a small tattoo on their cheek with a symbol. Some could be a star, a flower, a yinyang, a fish, or even waves. There are so many people that the symbols are almost limitless. The tattoos don't care about gender or number. For 2 years Violet also paniced but she knew that some people don't find their sm for 5-10 years after they come of age, so she wasn't as scared as Harper. We've all heard about 'the main character'. The type of person who lives through the most dramatic and improbable situations, and finds the kind of epic romance you only see in works of fiction.
