We've been friends since we were kids. We'll always be friends until forever. I'm not rushing into love. I don't want to force everything to happen. But whatever is God's plan, will be. I was so close to giving up on anything to do with love...until I found him. Out of all people, we were the least likely to ever get together. This is my story of what started out as friendship and bloomed into more. Only those who really want the second chance will take it and acknowledge it. Will a felon and a teenager, who was almost knocking at her death's door, take their second chance or will they let it go to waste? Completed in 2017.

"Everyone hopes for that perfect life, but me I just want to be happy. Maybe this new school will help. I don't know anymore. Everything was okay until it happened. Now I'm moving away and trying to find ways to cope. I remember her smile. I remember everything she did for me even though we didn't have a lot of money. She did everything she could to make me happy. As I look out the window tears slowly run down my face. " Change is different and new but it may end up being be better than you thought.
