She froze, her whole body stiffening on its own accord, as her milky lilac eyes widened in fear and shock. She didn't turn around but her lips parted to release her voice that slightly wavered,

"Father,"

She kept her eyes focused away as she heard his faint footsteps near her, his air of authority and cold pride sent her stock still. He came into her line of vision and she watched as he observed the large oak tree before them. Soon, he activated his Byakugan and slammed a chakra enhanced palm against the bark, making the oak tree groan as it crumbled to reveal the treasure it hid within.

With his bloodline deactivated, he coolly glanced at her. "Is this," He gestured to the three pronged kunai, "of your belonging?"

This time, there was no Hyūga servant to inform him of a meeting, there was no shinobi to summon her to the Hokage, there was no teammate to get her for training. With a hidden bravery, she answered, "Yes."

Before a winter colored flash blinded the man.

Akina Uchiha, the little sister of Itachi Uchiha, was known for her open and cheerful nature. There was hardly anyone in the Uchiha clan who behaved like that and that's why everyone liked this little girl. But one thing was hidden from the whole clan and from the Hokagen. Akina had awakened her Sharingan already as a small child although such a thing was hardly possible. Because of her fear that something could happen, her father decided to keep it a secret and train her. When the Uchiha entered the academy, she had to learn to get along with other children who did not belong to her clan. Besides her abilities, there was one more in the class who could be her equal.
