Senior year is supposed to be exciting and memorable for Clead, as it should, with everything in its right place. Until one day changes his life when he's involved in a scandal. But no one wants to believe he's innocent. Then everything starts crashing down. Enters fast-talking, nobody's friend, Marie, who wants to redeem herself by helping clear Clead's name. She must convince everyone, no matter what it takes. This is the distraction that Clead needs, and Marie is a new friend he can trust. Or is she only leading him on to a new scandal? © 2022-2024 @kathnappy This is a work of fiction. What would you do to disappear? What would you give up in order to start over? Popularity, your adoring best friend, the hottest guy in school? That is exactly what Lolita gives up when she goes missing. Why would the girl who seems to have everything give it all up? Disappear, just like that. Lolita and Amy are best friends who write a popular teen blog together. One day Amy's life is turned upside down when her whirlwind of a best friend goes missing. Join Amy on her hunt for Lolita and discover her secrets on the way. 'I was dead. Or as far as everyone knew I was. Everything worked like clockwork; just as I planned; people are predictable, aren't they?' - Lolita, That Girl. Author's note below- Thank you for taking a chance on 'Girls Astray'. It's a story close to my heart as it deals with mental health, which is a subject that I think people need to have more conversations about. This is a first draft so it's a flawed and a little incomplete here and there. (Much like myself it's a work in progress). If you enjoy it (which I hope you will) please comment and vote. Also I love feedback, feedback is my friend. ? Cover by the talented @annie-Joyce This story came third place in The Teen Fiction awards ❤️
