Maxine has stayed in California for as long as she could remember. But with her fathers death it made things harder on them. Susan Mayfield, (her mother), had no choice but to move out, and they moved to Hawkins Indiana and right back out into Cali. Now you might be asking why they moved out, but that is a story for you to find out for yourself. Now Eleven is also in California. Pretending El and Max never actually met each other as well as the party never meeting her. They therefore do not know she exists. Until now, where our superhero El has become weaker and cannot use her powers. How does El meet Max? And how does she fit in with the other kids? Well that my friend, is a story for you to find out.

With the help of some middle schoolers, along with her own "friends", Y/n will face the demogorgon and try and stop the evil that is trying to destroy Hawkins. But following that, there's the Mind Flayer, the Russians, and finally Vecna, all aiming to tear apart the once normal town. Throughout it all, Y/n forms strong friendships, and even finds love in the jerk turned babysitter Steve Harrington. But will Y/n and her friends survive?
