West runs headfirst into the unlucky events that lay before him when his attitude gets him into a quarrel with the wrong guy. As fate has it, the guy takes West home and leaves him the care of the strongest being known to mortals, Thorn Day. More formally known as the Keeper of the Universe. Thorn and his siblings are the descendants of Time, they lead the mortal world as gods known as the Divine. Now that West is trapped in the care of a Divine, he has to either find a way to escape or learn how to survive in a reality that isn't his.
