Mara, a girl living with her family made up of herself, her mother and her three sisters... did I say three? I meant two, (how silly of me!) Her family owns and works at a small dressmaker shop in the heart of the kingdom of Veramore, 1908. Mara's mother is too pre-occupied with running the shop and her eldest daughter Loraine's future, so she sends Mara on a small outing to gather some fresh food. However, the short outing ends up becoming a very, long one.
It's Maras first time out alone, and maybe it was a mistake to go?
