It’s 1995 and Plaid is in, Graduating is out. That’s not the case for Mickey Reed. She is done with high school and gets into the college of her dreams, NYU. Her first assignment of the Summer is to write an essay about one thing that’s impacted her life in the last 18 years. Mickey has no idea and not even Cobain’s lyrics are helping her.
