What if Alexander Hamilton wasn't our first Secretary of Treasury? What if his childhood friend Cecily May had been? In a reality where Hamilton dies at the age of 12, May moves to the English colonies at 19 to live with her aunt and uncle. Disguising herself as a man, Cecily must quickly learn to navigate a man's war and the on going revolutionary war. Will a woman set on changing a new country's views be able to make it in this world? Or will she be destined to burn? (This story is based mainly off the musical Hamilton by Lin-Manuel Miranda).

Who Tells Our Story?
Alexander Hamilton and Eliza Schuyler are the exact opposite of each other. Though they have their differences, their love prevails. Alexander Hamilton has been on his own for as long as he could remember. Even since he was a child, some of his earliest memories are those of being alone on the island he was born on, Nevis. His father left when he was a young child, and his mother fell ill and died when he was only the tender age of 12. Those experiences shaped Alexander into the man he is now; a hard working, loyal, strong, independent, dedicated, intelligent, man. Eliza Schuyler was born into wealth, and into a safe, loving, caring home. She's always surrounded by her family. Eliza is most commonly found alongside her sisters, Angelica, and Peggy.
