We walk into the conference room,
and i feel the room oozing with male testosterone, as i join the six men already in their seats.
I walk with Silas to a couple of empty chairs, and make myself comfortable.
Then two more people walk into the room after us, and it appears it's who everyone was waiting for, because the room instantly quiets down.
I look more closely at them and my heart nearly beats out of my chest, when i recognize one of them.....Marco.
I have to do a double take, just to make sure I am seeing right, and this time.....our eyes make eye contact as he sits down, and I swear, I see his lips twitch a little.
My mouth goes dry, and my ears start ringing.
It's him again!
Fate is clearly playing a dirty little game with me.
Suddenly, it feels like the room is shrinking in size, and we are the only two people in here, because I swear, i can feel his gaze on me.
But I choose to focus on the tablet on the table reflecting the agenda instead, and the someone starts updating the information, as the meeting progresses.
"Marco, what do you think?" someone asks, and interested, i follow everyone's line of sight to him.
Suddenly it dawns on me.
I look down at the screen again, and swipe to the list of attendees, and read his name in full.
Marco Bishop.
Wait, 'Marco Bishop?' as in 'Bishop', the name that is displayed in bold letters on the front of this multi story building?
I look up and find that he is no longer talking, but looking at me with a satisfied and proud look on his face, as if he can read my mind.
Shit!

"Chase."
I stand, sliding myself around the island and invading his personal space by basically crushing him into a hug. My arms wrap around his torso tightly while I stare up at him, a smile tugging at the corners of my lips. His arms capture me, wrapping around my shoulders as his eyes flick between mine.
"I really enjoyed last night. Every part of it." I tell him honestly.
"Good. Me too."
His head leans down into me, pecking my lips with a gentle kiss before he pulls away smiling, his dimples on show.
"Do you know how fucking sexy you look right now?"
I chuckle before breaking free, stepping back and spinning around so Chase can see me fully.
"Fuck. Come here."
His hands grip my neck, steadily pulling my head into him as his lips crash onto mine. His tongue slips in my mouth and I feel myself moan slightly at the feeling in my stomach from his touch. He suddenly grips my bare ass underneath his shirt and I squeal.
"Hey!"
"Sorry baby, I just can't control myself when you're literally wearing nothing underneath my shirt. Which by the way, looks so fucking good on you."
