She looked for a return address, but found that there was none.
Stranger yet, she found that it had no stamp in the upper right corner. She found herself looking up at the forested land that lay beyond her mailbox. She saw no sign of life in the snow blanketed woods, yet she suddenly got the feeling that something was watching her. She shivered, and she found herself wondering whether it was from the cold, or something else.

Tessa had all but forgotten the incident that had taken her mother away from her. The one that sent her to the father that didn't care about her and the stepmother who was even worse than him. It had left her motherless, friendless, and hopeless. She had managed to push it from her mind, to ignore it. It was just a freak accident. She was just a witness. But suddenly that incident is coming back to her, in the form of a teenage boy named Oliver. Along with this boy comes secrets and truths that will change Tessa's life completely as she realizes that her life is not as normal, let alone safe, as she had thought it was.

Lab Partners

38 parts Complete

WATTPAD ORIGINAL EDITION When Elliot Goldman meets his sweet and charming new lab partner, Jordan Hughes, suddenly high school doesn't seem so bad. For the first time ever, Elliot can't wait to get to chemistry class... ***** Smart, good looking and charismatic, Jordan opens Elliot's eyes to the possibilities around him and gives him butterflies like nobody else does. Jordan isn't exactly the kind of person Elliot's used to having as a lab partner, but when they start acing their assignments, life is suddenly about more than boring lectures, bad cafeteria nachos, or relentless bullying. And then one night, the butterflies start to make sense - the trouble is, now nothing else does. As Elliot begins to figure out how he really feels about Jordan, he realizes that sometimes the last thing you are expecting is the one thing you need the most. [[word count: 40,000-50,000 words]]
