On the night of his eighteenth birthday, Spade Prosperine was granted powers beyond his imagination. In a world full of reapers, heroes, anti-heroes, villains, and frauds, Spade learns that nobody would ever live and love normally ever again. He decides to change that, but is too afraid to.

Spade also dreams of freedom, but soon the whole world will become a whole burden on his shoulders.

While his sister, Juno Prosperine, wants and has the same desire- only wanting to be more famous instead of staying on the anonymous side. She also likes the burden of saving the world. Her brother doesn't.

They both learn the hard way that great powers come with great responsibilities, and decisions.

Who will be the chosen one, and live forever? Who would have to make a choice and live long enough to become the villain?
