The name's Devyn, Devyn Hawks, but I prefer Dev. I'm not your average teenage girl. No, not at all. I don't like Starbucks, or Chipotle, and I don't take selfies with my boobs and butt hanging out . I just like skateboarding, and watching Netflix while eating ice cream. I don't fancy all of those parties, and drugs, and those nasty one night stand hookups. I'm just a shy and a low self- esteemed girl living in the small town of Charlotte, North Carolina. I don't have very many friends, and I've never been the popular type. But I play sports, and that's probably the only thing that I'm good at. I never really thought that anyone could like such a plain, boring, and lousy girl like me, but that changed when Hayes Grier moved in across the street.

Book One of the Fire and Ice Series Stolen as infants. Raised in two worlds. Reunited by blood and secrets. Twins Marina and Lukas were taken from their father and brothers, leaders of the Italian mafia, before they could even crawl. Raised by their mother in hiding, everything changes the day she dies... and the twins are sent back to the family they never knew. At first, it's almost perfect. A family reunited. A sense of belonging. But peace never lasts in a world built on violence. When Marina is accused of a betrayal she didn't commit, her silence protects the guilty-and costs her everything. Banished and broken, the soft girl disappears. Eighteen months later, she returns hardened, unrecognizable, and hell-bent on never trusting anyone again. Now the past won't stay buried. Lies are cracking. And the truth? It might tear them all apart. Can a fractured family rebuild what was lost, or will blood loyalty be the thing that finally destroys them? Secrets will be exposed. Lines will be crossed. And Marina must decide. Does she want revenge... or a family worth fighting for?
