What if each of the survivors of V3 had the chance to bring back one person? Would they take it? Would it end well, or just become a disaster? There's only one way to find out. So yes, Shuichi, Himiko, and Maki are all given the chance to bring back one person of their choosing. They must go back into the game and change things to prevent that person's death. They each only get to choose one person. They only get one shot at it. So if one of them fails, then whomever they were trying to save will just die again.
