Chaos reigned down, debris from the explosive battle littered as far as anyone could see. And yet, she stood frozen not with fear but with the calm one is left with after a debilitating storm. Energy dwindling and time slipping she managed to walk the few feet that remained to reach her three young children. Whom were huddled against the wall behind her seeking a sanctuary that only a mother could offer. Gashes littered her body, blood spattered her clothing and skin which also showed signs of bruising. The pitter patter of something wet could be heard as she approached. But she dare not falter for time was an enemy that had no empathy over unfinished business. Knowing that there was no other way she kneeled before her three most treasured loves and began the conversation that would mark her end and begin their hell. She only prayed that what she set in motion a millenia ago was not stronger than the three sets of eyes that gazed upon her. For she had walked into this mess foolishly ignorant she was ending it with her greatest hope.
