This is a re telling of the little mermaid. The MC is the sea witch but here, she is a mermaid.



The sea witch Cathel went to the land when she was 16 as Lanette because she was curious about how humans lived. She then meets Prince Eric and they fall in love and she stays with Eric for a year. But rulers from other kingdoms discovered her and her power. They then attacked the kingdom of Prince Eric and tried to capture Cathel and use her to gain more power. She then decides to erase the memories of the enemies and everyone she met in land including Eric. She erases everyone's memories of her and returns to the sea. Several years later,
Ariel, Cathel's cousin meets Eric and she asks Cathel to change her tail to legs and she gave Ariel legs in exchange for her voice so that she can see if the one that Ariel met will actually like her even without her beautiful voice and just in case they find out that she's not human they wont accuse her of being a siren. Cathel returns to the land to see how Ariel was doing. She then finds out that Ariel and Eric now loved each other and then she tries to take Eric back from Ariel.
