What do you call a chance to admit feelings overwhelmed by embarrassment and made-up contentment? Missed. What do you call a time spent on wondering what-ifs and could have been? Missed. What could I call you - the person I had most laughs and cries with, considered me special and unique, and with the eyes who can speak much than what has to be said? My missed.
It's that time of the month again to share another piece of mine, except that it's late, for I have something special released last 7th! In high school, a girl felt invisible, haunted by bullying over her crooked teeth. Though she hid her feelings, their connection deepened through playful conversations and mutual respect. He helped her grow confident, teaching her that self-love and standing up for herself were key to owning her power. Their bond, built on trust and understanding, wasn't a typical romance, but it transformed her. She learned to believe in herself. When he graduated and their paths diverged, she watched him leave, grateful for the journey they had shared.
