Authentically Po.Ethic

The poems in Authentically Po.Ethic are inspired through my experiences as a young adult. Relationships, friendships, family life and the struggle to "come up" using education as a tool. The word play for the title of the book as well as the strategies and techniques used in the poems are intentional. These are what gives meaning depending on the reader and what they are exposed to. As a lover of literature many of our Caribbean writers styles of writing have influenced mine, therefore my poems can be used in the academic field but there's an entirely different perspective that goes into the adulthood realm. The diversity of my poems makes the difference and this is the first of many.
