Many battles have passed since then: Shredder's defeat, The Foot's fall, even the Purple Dragon's discontinuance. But not without sacrifice did the turtles accomplish victory; During the Battle against Shredder, Splinter's life was mercilessly taken.

As a result, relationships among the brothers are not the same, straining and pulling with hapless vigor.
