Five years have passed since Leonardo and his brothers first surfaced the criminally overrun streets of New York. Many battles have passed since then: Shredder's defeat, The Foot's fall, even the Purple Dragon's discontinuance. But not without sacrifice did the turtles accomplish victory; During the Battle against Shredder, Splinter's life was mercilessly taken.
As a result, relationships among the brothers are not the same, straining and pulling with hapless vigor.
Then to his dismay, Leo receives a call from Karai--who now holds leadership to an increasingly mutinous and nefarious clan-- demanding a private and immediate meeting, or the life of his brothers will be in jeopardy.
Little does he know, he will be given the chance to bring back his deceased father of two years.
