The Son's crimes and bloodshed continue on after the death of many beloved members. Jax and the club pick up the pieces of the mess that Clay had made of SAMCRO. As Jax is made President of SAMCRO, he learns the values and responsibilities of being both a father and a leader. He tries to fix things with the Irish, the Chinese, and the territories within Charming.
Freya Pope is the daughter of the mafia boss Damien Pope, a man who worked angles with groups carrying shady pasts. Freya knows better than to ask her father about his business. She moved away from Charming, hoping for a better life, until a call from a longtime friend changes everything. Her father has passed away, and his final request is for his daughter to inherit the family business.
Frightened by what that responsibility entails, Freya journeys back to her hometown near Charming-Stockton, CA. Her father left her a criminal empire to run. While she's figuring out who she can trust, she is taken under August Marks's wing, who helps her navigate and control her father's illegal business.

Marks looks toward the door, waiting for the young woman to appear.
Out comes a bouncy brunette, ready to dive into another round of self-defense training.
"I'm here, stop yelling!" Freya exclaims, shooting a glare at the older man.
