Frank Iero is no stranger to attempting suicide..And he just tried to do it again...And he almost succeeded. After being discharged from the hospital, he's forced to spend 6 months in a mental health facility for under strict suicide watch. He hates the idea of being locked up, and is told he has to be apart of a project, where he must be pen pals with one of the teens in the facility. As time goes on, they write each other every day, talking about their attempts, how they miss their families, and become friends....But could these troubled youths, become something more? What will happen when they meet each other face to face?

Don't Look Down
Gerard way and Frank Iero have always passed each other in the hallway but never spoke a word to one another. They are both alike in many ways. Both loners who feel like they don't quite belong. Frank mostly spends his days depressed and alone. The occasional hurtful remarks from his fellow classmates and father wearing him down. Frank's family issues seem to swallow him hole which is mainly why he feels like throwing in the towel... permanently. Gerard lives to protect those he cares about. Though, he has a bit of an edgy attitude most people learn to respect. There's more to Gerard than what the outside shows. His brother Mikey and best friend Ray know glimpses of how he really feels, and how complications from the past really fuck with his behavior. But, their differences don't keep them apart considering these strangers are forced into each other's lives when Gerard finds Frank attempting to commit suicide. Richard doesn't even own a restaurant, he's a drug dealer, and he has Frank do the dirty work. When Frank is making a round he meets someone in particular.
