Four high school seniors embark on a Spring Break trip to the mountains of Colorado that goes anything but right. With both metaphorical and literal roadblocks abound, drama ensues, relationships are challenged, and an unexpected romance develops that threatens to shake up the status quo and change the group's dynamic forever. A coming-of-age story about friendship, love, loss and hope.
This is a spinoff of my previous stories and is set in the same universe, but don't worry! It has intentionally been written to be fully understood and enjoyed independently. If you stumble across this and haven't read my previous stories, no worries! If you HAVE read my previous stories, you'll just have more background information and will be able to appreciate little easter eggs :) Though I do feel my writing has substantially improved since those original two, and I look back on them with a bit of cringe, so I'd encourage you to read this one first lol.
π§ Road to Rockdale is currently in active development with 30 chapters available as of 4/1/25. I don't have a set schedule, but a new chapter is being released roughly every few weeks! Please feel free to leave comments and feedback, I LOVE seeing your thoughts and it inspires me to keep writing!
πΆ This story has a soundtrack! Throughout the chapters, you may see links to YouTube videos with songs. These are meant to correspond to the scene, similar to a movie or TV show :)
