What can be more problematic after accidentally bumping your head on the edge of a bed and then getting knocked out for two hours?

The answer is, knowing the fact that you gotta live the rest of your lives as a side character. Or to be more specific a third wheel.

Unfortunately, that is the fate laid out for dear Daniel, a once regular character in a book, now not so regular character in a book because he knows what'll happen in the future, and what'll happen to him if he does something out of the ordinary.
So, readers, let us all hop into the story and read all about his suffering, happiness, sadness, and maybe even a tinge of romance, who knows?
