When Caitlyn got a request anonymously for a meeting with someone in the Undercity, at night, in the dark, and strictly alone, her correct first response was to say absolutely not. The young Undercity child who had delivered the message to her outside of the Piltover Police station had scurried away and disappeared out of sight.

"I have info on Jinx. I know you're searching. Meet me. Tonight. Bring no one else."

A point on a carefully drawn but messy map was the only other thing present.

The card bent under Caitlyn's thumb from the pressure her finger dug into it. Her last lead on Piltover's loose cannon, had gone cold when the witness came up dead the next morning. Someone was covering Jinx's tracks and doing it well.

"What the bloody hell are you thinking Caitlyn." She muttered to herself as she got in her Hex-car and drove to the bridge that led to the Undercity.

An elevator that definitely wouldn't meet safety codes took her down into the ravine that encased the Undercity, and she dutifully followed the poorly detailed map, missing a few turns and having to retrace her steps. The place she ended up, was dark, dirty, and rodents scurried away from her as she walked down the alleyway on the map.

'This is disgusting, dangerous, poorly planned-' Caitlyn ranted to herself in her thought before a red jacket and head of short pink hair caught her attention. 'The person I'm meeting... is a woman?'

Continued in chapter one 🙃

My own version of Arcane because I love it so much I wanted to put my own twist on it. As you'll be able to tell by reading, it's mature rated and heavily influenced by the Netflix series with several references blended in.

There will be detailed smut, I just don't know when. Please don't rush for it as then I don't actually want to write it. Enjoy and if you like please leave a comment and vote the chapters 😁

I threw my arm around her. Then lightly grabbed her face as she had done mine before, "shhhh, it'll be ok, I've got you ..." I whispered. I didn't let go... Cover art adapted from @trixdraws and @saskia Starting where Arcane season 1 (Netflix/Riot) left off. We see a romantic take on possible events with Caitlin and Vi after Jinx hurled her rocket at Piltover. Although this follows Caitlyn and Vi closely there's a lot of story development as well that I'm having fun with. Noxus, Zaun... culminating in a massive battle... I loved Arcane. It left off too soon, so I couldn't wait to write a story based on the series. The animations, music and storytelling coupled with emotion from every character was astounding. I'm excited to see the masterful art Riot will have in store for next season. But while we wait here's something to chew on... I'd say this is mature YA (a bit of language) nothing too explicit here. Absolutely loved this series and cannon from the League of Legends world. I may have started playing LoL before it officially launched in 2009 I personally see myself in the 3 protagonists Caitlyn, Vi, and Jinx. Sharing a lot of their strengths and weaknesses. Freakin love their complexities and want to dive into them more. Please comment, provide, feedback, and share. I'd love to know what you think. * I do not own any of the art or characters. I tried to credit where I could find but feel free to comment so I can update later.

What if their fight on the bridge ended differently, and Ekko was the one who lost? Jinx is faced with a choice; Leave her childhood friend to bleed out and die, or save his life. - Greetings, dear reader. Are you looking for a different ending to Jinx and Ekko's story? Are you intrigued about what could've been, if only things went a different way for them? You have come to the right place! That's what this story is all about. But I take issue with most Jinx x Ekko fanfics/timebombs either rushing their complicated relationship from 0 (Enemies) to 10 (Best Friends/Lovers), often ignoring crucial aspects of both characters that define their trauma and willingness/unwillingness to reconcile with each other. Jinx is an incredibly complex character. Expect this story to explore that complexity to its fullest. I've been inspired to attempt the impossible; Showcase the most realistic possible path for these two to find their way back to each other. Arcane is a show of tragedy brought forth by circumstance. Unlike most fanfics, this one will focus on a realistic take of what their relationship could have looked like, if at one crucial moment, things went a different way. In order to do proper service to the complex characters of Arcane, THE STORY WILL CONTAIN SOME OF THE FOLLOWING MATURE THEMES: - Descriptive Violence - Selfharm, Att./Suicide - Depictions/Examination of Emotional Trauma - Depictions of Psychotic Behavior - Minor Swearing - Additional but similar concepts. Feedback is welcome! Credits to Alexin on Pinterest for the cover art.

Because he had nothing to lose, not even his own daughter at times. Caitlyn and him drifted apart even more than they were before. Especially as he started treating her solely as an object for his use. Leading her to need some type of escape, some type of fun again. And as her skills in her shot, her strength, and her wit increased. So did her confidence and her will to win, leading her to start sneaking out of the castle gates. Almost every night scaling the buildings and walls to watch the night life in the upper city. Until one night when an incident occurs, causing her to accidentally run into someone. Revealing herself to a complete stranger. Knowing full well that a predicament would arise if that ever happened, she fumbles her way through compromise and bargains to get off easy. Vi took a step closer, voice teasing. "Why does it bother you, hmm?" Caitlyn hated how her heart sped up. She looked away, grumbling, "Because... because you're supposed to be loyal to me." Vi's smirk faltered slightly. Caitlyn crossed her arms tighter. "I mean-not that we ever had anything. But still! You-You can't just..." She trailed off, biting her lip. Vi studied her for a long moment. "Caitlyn." Caitlyn refused to meet her gaze. Vi sighed, softer now. "I'm single, okay?" Caitlyn swallowed. Vi hesitated before continuing. "But yeah, I... I do love someone." Caitlyn hiccupped, rubbing at her eyes furiously. Vi reached for her, concerned. "Caitlyn, why are you-" "I knew it!" Caitlyn blurted, voice wobbling. Vi blinked. "Knew what?" Caitlyn sniffled. "You do love someone! And-and now I have to compete with them?" Vi opened her mouth-then shut it, utterly baffled. "I-what?" Caitlyn grabbed Vi's hands. "Just-just love me instead!" ---- Caitlyn Kiramman has everything-fame, fortune, and a career that keeps the world watching. But with the spotlight comes danger, and when a series of anonymous threats escalate, her security team hires Violet, a former underground fighter with a no-nonsense attitude and a past she refuses to talk about. Violet is everything Caitlyn isn't-rough, unpredictable, and infuriatingly stubborn. From their first meeting, sparks fly, but not the good kind. Caitlyn finds her bodyguard impossible, while Violet sees Caitlyn as just another spoiled celebrity. But as danger looms closer, forced proximity turns tension into something neither of them expected-lingering touches, stolen glances, and a protectiveness that goes beyond duty. When Caitlyn is put in real danger, Violet will have to face the truth: guarding Caitlyn was never just a job. But in a world where Caitlyn shines brightest under flashing cameras and Violet prefers the shadows, can they find a way to stand together?
