I never thought it would end like this. I always thought I had a home. I always thought I had a family, but as it turns out, my past is darker than the lies they told me and the truth they kept from me.

ALL THINGS THAT HAPPENED ARE REAL. THIS IS NOT FICTION. A diary documenting my final year of high school. Recently life has become this very strange television like reality for me. I went from invisible to involved. This is an entirely true account of my life, not a work of fiction and I want to share with you how weird life has gotten for me.

All my poems I have written from the age of 17 until now.

It isn't the bad things you intended to do that come back to haunt you. It's the ones you never meant to happen, that you can't bear to take responsibility for, that fester and grow over the decades. When you know you have nothing to lose, mistakes are inevitable. I've completed this story, but couldn't get any views on here, so I've tried Amazon's KDP Select instead. I feel like my world is falling apart. No one is going to look at me the same. I'm going to be treated differently if any one finds out.

How trust could truly blind you.

I was waiting for my dad when my life changed. Not in any way like a fairy tale with magic wands or going through a rabbit hole like kids in the books do. More like I found it and wished my father came back to clean up his own problem instead of risking my life for this. I can only hope that I will make it out alive.
