Claiming Adeline

Adeline was a simple 21-year old girl that had graduated university, had a love for Costa, and recently secured an office role. Until she made the mistake of bumping into Arcadius, the Alpha of the Blood Moon Pack which was hell-bent on claiming her as his mate.

"Why won't you listen to me!" He growled in a husky voice.

"Because you don't own me, let me go, you deranged man!" I couldn't stop myself, he needed to know he was irrational and damn right psychotic. My words only angered him more and his glowing golden eyes lightened if it were possible, they were mesmerizing and haunting at the same time. His hand that held my shoulder to the ground began to apply pressure and I avoided wincing under the pain refusing to give him the satisfaction of hurting me.

"You're mine!" He punched the ground next to my face and I watched in horror as the dirt bounced up into the air in contrast to the force. My breaths quickened and thoughts of what he could do to me ran through my mind. I began squirming under his grasp in attempts of escape, he didn't like that. In response, he only pushed down harder trying to assert his dominance and I could have sworn the ground was dipping under me.

"No, I'm not!" I bit back, I didn't even know this stranger. At this point, I felt like my bones were ready to crack under his force, I bit my bottom lip to hold back another yelp.

"We'll see about that love." His eyes stopped glowing and as if under a switch turned incredibly dark in pools of rich hazel lust, my breath hitched in my throat as he hungrily stared at my lips.
