Castiel Novak only had two years of school left before he could finally escape the hell that is Sioux Falls High School. Every since he moved here he's had a hard time making friends. After all, being gay wasn't a good thing to be at his school. He would constantly get mentally and emotionally abused by his classmates. Two more years, he kept telling himself, and then he would graduate and get a degree in fine arts. When the new English teacher, Mr. Winchester, shows up Castiel immediately takes interest. He finds himself jealous and angry when he sees Cas with Luke, and at his brother's suggestion he decides to confront his true feelings for his best friend, and tell him how he really feels. There is a lot of pain and heartache in the beginning for Cas, but I swear it ends on a good note.
