Mara Griffin, Pansy Parkinson, and Daphnee Greengrass have been best friends since Alvah transferred to Hogwarts from Illvermorny a month before the end of their third year. It was unconventional, of course, for an American to be at Hogwarts but Mara had gotten herself kicked out of Illvermorny and her foster parents didn't want her at home all the time so they got special permission from the Ministry of Magic. Mara Griffin and Draco Malfoy were not best friends, the opposite in fact. Draco despised her from the minute she set foot on the castle grounds and Mara would have none of the pureblood bull he spat at her. Mara Griffin and Blaise Zabini, that was a difficult topic. Blaise had to follow in his family's footsteps, had to be like his friends, and stay with the pureblood girls. Mara had fallen in love with Blaise their fourth year, and Blaise with Mara, but Blaise's desire to please everyone but her made Mara annoyed and her feelings started to shift. The girls and Draco's posse have always gone at one another, Alvah and Pansy being past members of his little group, and Mara being friends with them. But in their seventh year, things start to change. cover from @sofiamoura33 on pinterest

Prince Maekar Targaryen, a stern and dutiful fourth son of King Daeron II Targaryen, has always believed his life belongs to war, family, and duty-not love. Lady Maelora Velaryon, gentle, pious, and quietly strong, is everything he is not, yet she is the only person who can soften the iron in his heart. As they grow from childhood companions into something far deeper, the weight of their names, expectations, and destiny begins to threaten the fragile bond they have built. In a world of fire, power, and sacrifice, will their quiet love survive-or will duty tear them apart? Maekar Targaryen x OC!Velaryon All characters belong to George R.R.
