He had two other guards by his side their gaze watching my every move. I didn't want to leave but seeing how I'd been drafted I had no choice. My father and my brother Jean stood on the cottage doorstep watching from a distance with fear in their eyes. They were afraid to meet my gaze. I never had a bond with jean or my father. But blood is still blood.
