Rumor is that Death Island used to have a big residential school, and a lot of children died. Their Souls/Spirits still roam the hiking trail to get to Death Island. Telling their story, and what happened at the school.

The wooden floorboards creak underneath my footsteps as I walk down the abandoned hallway, my flashlight swinging back and forth in front of me. The cold air from the hallway seeps through my already wet cold clothes, making me shiver. I'm almost at the end of the hallway when I see a door on my left. I stop and stand in front of it. I place my hand on the doorknob and twist it open. I let my eyes adjust to the darkness, finally I see what's in the room. A scream of terror erupts from my throat. My body freezes itself as I stare at the hanged corpse of one of my friends.--------------------Think about this: What do you think will happen when 100 passengers crash land on an abandoned island and only 8 survive. The Bird People
In 1600s Virginia, a small colonial village sprang up unceremoniously on the sacred burial grounds of the Native American people it was taken from, the Nottoway. Now, an ancient evil has been awakened in the form of Elementals known as The Bird People and it is suspected that the Nottoway Tribe has cursed the ground in revenge for being encroached upon by colonial settlers. After failed crops, still births, deaths, burnt homes and facing starvation, superstitions run rampant and the townspeople do the only thing they can think of in the late 1600s to appease these angry and destructive spirits. Give them an offering. It is quietly decided by the elders of the community, in an effort to keep these spirits of the bird people at bay, that every woman should give up her first born infant daughter to them. One such young mother cannot bear this resolution much less imagine giving up her only child.
